Back To School; Make-up!

Hi everyone! This is the second post in my back to school series dealing with makeup. If you missed my first post, "What's In My Gym Bag?" click here.

For school, I like all of my makeup to look natural. I don't really have any purple eyeshadows or anything like that, so wherever I go, my makeup is usually very natural. But for school I like to tone things down a bit more.

Let's start off with face makeup. I have acne prone skin, so I love the brand Neutogena. They at least help keep my skin under control when it comes to breaking out.

This moisturizer is amazing! I'm actually running out of it as you can see. I'm going to have to pick this up before school.

I then apply the one side of my Almag concealer to my face. It works as a "medicine" kind of thing. Then I apply the concealer. In case you're wondering, I'm in the shade 200 light/medium.

After I apply my concealer to my imperfections, I apply my foundation. I like the use a sponge for a more natural finish. Again, I am in the shade Natural Ivory, if you were wondering.

After I apply that, I then powder my face to keep the makeup locked in. The small stole tube is a highlighter for under my eyes. In the morning I am super tired and I like to give the illusion that I'm awake. This is the perfect trick.

For blush, I like to use this covergirl palette or the Physcian's Formula blush in "Natural."

If I use the covergirl one, I use the middle color for the apples of my cheeks and the lighter color up to my temples. This makes the blush look super natural!

Lips! (My favorite!) I first apply the 14 hr. lipstick by Maybelline in the shade "Ultimate Blush." Then on top of that I put this lipgloss on in the shade "True Love's first kiss" for again, a natural finish.

I usually don't wear eyeshadow, but sometimes I do! This duo is by bare minerals. I apply the light color, "Daydream" all over my lid and that's it. I want it to look completely natural. All it does is even everything out.

Depending on the day, I'll switch up my mascara. Sometimes I'll use Natureluze, other days I'll use Falsies.

And that's about it!

I hope you enjoyed my second post in my back to school series!

Thanks for reading! Xoxo,

Alex :)
