I revel in the sound of thunder,
smile wide and forget im under.

I revel in the sound of rain,
creating small polka dots, that'll soon fade away.

I revel in the color the weather brings,
the fashion, the laughter in a gloomy scene.

I revel in the carelessness,
when things are unnecessary, a vacation a simple bliss.

I revel in the thought of rolling my windows down,
getting that cool, yet warm breeze greet your face, hold you down ;)

I revel in the humidity,
Breath it in, long suffocating cottony breaths.

I revel in the smell the earth seems to agree,
the pumpkin,the warm fire, the serene taste that's not so green.

- Ahh! I'm pretty proud of this post! I've been nagging myselft to do an autmn post, but them i was telling myself poetry! Write poetry! Hello, Guys :) Ugh, Can I say how weird it is to start of all of my posts, with 'Hello, Guys', I need a name for all my followers....Onyriffics? Onytacular?Onyees? Bestonys?
We'll have to decide, from those four awful names, i just thought of...

So, I just came home from school, got on blogger to see...I've been nominated for a Liebster award! By my friend, Pam ! Thanks. And,well not just did I get nominated Phoebs did too! So, wohoo!
Okay, now lets get this started..after i mention the rules. (pipe down,there's only five :)

Your favorite quote , and why? My absolute favorite quote is "Today you decide how tomorrow will look." This quote is actually this blog's monthly quote. So if you are ever wondering what my favorite quote is, simply look where it says " This month's quote. " 

Okay, why i love this quote will have to be because, it just makes me rethink every decision i make. I have to stop and ask myself how this decision will affect tomorrow. :)

Growing up who did you admire?  Eeeek! Taylor Swift! In elementary school she was my idol! I love,love,loved every thing about her :)  

What do you want to do after school? Easy peesy lemon squeezy, after college or sometime in college I'm certain on being a famous book author,like Suzanne Collins ( author of The Hunger Games ) or Stephanie Meyer ( author of The Twilight Saga )! However, I want to have more liberal career while I'm writing books so...I'm leaning towards being a teacher or a lawyer. :/

Talk about your favorite band/artist , and why you like them. I love One Direction and Ed Sheeran, but since I've already told you guys about my love for them in this post --> My 10 favorite things!

We will talk about someone else I love love love , Marina & The Diamonds!

I love Marina so much, because how real her lyrics are. How it feels like they go deep in my soul, she simply amaze balls! Google her...or youtube. Youtube is probs better.

The greatest compliment you've ever received and who gave it to you? Hmm..well I'm not going to say when someone called me pretty or anything else (superficial in my opinion ) So, it would have to be in 5th grade when my teacher told me should loved this story I wrote and gave it an A. I was soo happy because, to me.. It just got real. Lol, she encouraged me that day to pursue writing, and I'm getting better and better!

The name of your first pet? This baby turtle I found in my Grandma's backyard (NO JOKE) but since I cant remember it's name...I'll just tell you about my second pet, named Charlie. It was a beautiful brown and white beagle mix :D

Do you like your school? Kind of..well I just have to get used to it. Its a new school that just got built this year, Its  humongous. But it's pretty cool,nevertheless.

An embarrassing memory? Yes! This was last year, during free time of P.E. I was wearing tight black skinny jeans and my two best friends and I decided to do a cheer leader kick. So...yea. I fell on my butt, and everyone saw.

The most important quality a person should have? They have to be caring, and an amazing conscious.

Something that irritates you? A pet peeve of mine...would have to be touching,or pulling my hair. I absolutely hate it, just please don't touch me.

Who is your style icon? Honestly, at this moment i can not think of anyone. So, I most likely just borrow fashion tips here and there. But, i love wearing long skirts that start from my bra and end at my knees. The lawyer look is a big thing for me, I love it

Bold Eyelashes Effect

Hi there , its Phoebs again, from Geek Chic Notes. Hope you enjoyed the last post. Today I have a quick how-to on creating the illusion that your eyelashes are super long! 

Tips

1. Use an eyelash curler, ( Ony says if you dont have an eyelash curler than; 1) Run warm water on a spoon and place it on your eyelashes up, so it curls. 2) Rub two fingers together until warm and place them on your eyelashes. The whole point is heat to curl your lashes. )

2. Find a good mascara ( benefit 'they're real' mascara for an upmarket option or the Rimmel range for a cheaper option)

3. Put black eyeliner on the upper lashline of the outer corner of your eye( the outside of your eye by your top lashes) it adds more volume.

4. Here is the key part. Always put the lightest shade of eyeshadow in the middle of your eye. The contrast would be so big it would make your eyelashes look longer. For example , if you wanted a green eyeshadow combo put a light shade in the middle, a medium shade nearer the nose and the darkest shade near wear you should put the eyeliner. Then a blend of all three colours in the crease ( just underneath where the thin, eyelid skin becomes thicker and harder)

This is how the eyes  should look :)

This is so simple to recreate and really effective.

Two More Quick Tips

Never do eyeliner all the way around your eye. It makes your eyes look smaller compared to your face.

Before you put any eyeshadows on, pop some white eyeshadow in the inner corners. It makes you look wide awake! Then add your other shades on top.

Last day of Moving (Squeeal!)

Okay, like my other moving day post, I found some juicy babylicious treasures (yes, yes I did just say babylicious). Okay, and like my make-up post I said how I bought baby lips and lost it in a few hours. (Eeek! (This is an excited eek! Not an I just seen a bug eek!) )
So guess what!? I FOUND IT! I found my lucious babylicious pink babylips. *squeeal!* So at this moment, my parents are staring at me as I jump up and down squealing but how can you not be happy? Huh?
